Failed to win battle of the bands. Due to complete lack of feedback from the organiser we have no idea what we need to improve on. Cheers mate.
Ken has started building his studio. The release of the Love Commandos album before 2040 is well on track.
The Love Commandos will not be playing Chalky’s birthday bash this year because Andy is off on a romantic weekend and not because Neil is off to Canada to see Rush. There. It is now in print. It must be true.
Newsflash – gig added at short notice.
Ken has mixed some of the tracks that we did back in February.
Well, a belated Happy New Year to one and all from the command bunker.
Recent attempts have been made at rehearsals to record the raw, live sound of the LCs so as to at least produce the dodgiest of demo CDs. Only Ken knows how well or badly this is going.
Neil still gadding about so not much has been happening. Jon joining the list of people to blame for cancelled rehearsals. Neil no longer feels quite as lonely.
Top performance again at the Golden Lion last night, looking forward to seeing you guys again soon (early/mid November?). Requests from the Cage diehard included; anything by Alice In Chains, Inside by Stiltskin or Black by Pearl Jam. Loved the opening of Buffy, but could you please remember to invite Sarah Michelle Gellar to the next gig to fulfil my fantasy (no, dressing Ken up will not do!).
