Well that’s it, the band have approved the art proofs, paid the balance and committed the production run; Siren is go!
It’s been a bit of a journey and has taken longer than we would have liked, but the finished album should be with us in a few weeks.
To celebrate the Love Commandos spent Friday evening practising some more covers and some old gems and generally making a lot of noise. We’ve also decided that Dave Grohl does an awful lot of shouting in The Pretender. As this also reminds me of Douglas Adams’ Vogon guard that’s probably a good thing.

Look, you can’t just mention my hair and not tell them why! My public demands a full explanation! For those that care, I’ve had the locks hacked off to shoulder length and dyed the whole lot a subtle (well for me!) red. Hmmm… perhaps we could make my hair a feature, or even get some clever sort of Shockwave widget to apply different hair styles to us all. One for our programmers methinks…

Come and see us live! We’re much more active than the photographs suggest!! Honest…. OK, maybe not, but it is a hell of a lot of fun for us to see a full house, so get on down to our next gig, and this time get up and dance or at least sing along! We’re only here for the fun, we want you to have as much fun as possible during our short time on stage too.
