Siren is described as “highly reflective of a band that doesn’t take itself too seriously yet can still pack an enjoyable punch.” Apart from the review of “Siren” issue 67 has articles on Sum 41 Piggy D (Rob Zombie) and Bowling for Soup amongst many others. Black Velvet, an excellent independent rock magazine produced in the Midlands, is available quarterly.

The post Kiss this first appeared on Love Commandos.]]> I can confirm that Paul Stanley of Kiss has had a copy of the brand new album “Siren” for at least as long as it took him to leave the room we were both in. He did promise to listen to it but to be honest, I don’t mind. I am just extremely happy that Paul Stanley has, however possibly briefly, been the owner of an album that I have made – especially considering the number of recordings I own with Paul on them. Now, if I can just get a t-shirt to Jennifer Aniston….

So now you can find out what it is that Neil is singing over the drums, guitars, bass and occasional keyboards. There’s even a little bit of German in the mix, though we admit that it may not be entirely grammatically accurate. We blame artistic license. Well, they shouldn’t have given us one if they didn’t want us to use it.
