Shock news that Chris Cornell, lead singer with Soundgarden and Audio Slave has died suddenly and unexpectedly at the age of 52. Reports say that he died shortly after coming off stage after performing with Soundgarden.

Love Commandos are saddened to hear of the death of Pop legend David Bowie at the age of 69 after an 18 month battle against cancer.

Bowie had a huge influence on popular music during his career, which covered a vast range of styles and genres often ground-breaking and breathtaking in their execution. He was, perhaps at his greatest with the late Mick Ronson on guitar, and 1972’s Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars still stands as one of the greatest rock albums of all time.

B.B. King’s the blues

Sad news today as B. B. King dies at the age of 89. The legendary blues guitarist known as the King of the blues was ranked number six in the top 100 guitarists of all time by Rolling Stone magazine in 2011. He was known for his tireless performing and his sophisticated style of soloing, which would influence every electric guitar player who followed him.
